Nechama The book market registered a considerable rise that marks the change of model, according to the latest study by the Association of American Publishers, comparing January 2011 with January 2010. The document marks an increase of 115 percent, which is more than double the market in comparison to last year with a turnover of 69.9 million dollars.
The move coincides with declines in the traditional book sales. The hardcover editions fell by 11.3 percent and were $ 49.1 million. Books Online Paperback also suffered a decline of 19.7 percent and totaled $ 83.6 million. Finally, the paperbacks were a great fall, from 30.9 percent to $ 39 million.
