Hard Lump Behind Ear On Bone Not Painful

Biutiful ... and a Chinese tale

Biutiful was watching this afternoon. The tape mentioned how trafficking gangs enslave immigrants coming to Barcelona in search of a better life. The scene reminded me of an episode I experienced firsthand a few years ago when trying to Saving Money on the other side myself I had to face the reality of immigrants, seeking to live, I was forced to seek work in a restaurant Chinese.

I had already been warned that the worst place to work was at a restaurant Chinese: minimum 12 hours of paid work endless Mexico style, ie with crumbs. But hunger is fierce and I stopped at the Chinese restaurant asking to speak to the owner.

Chinese who ran the place was eating something with their hands behind the counter, and when one of the waiters (Mexican of course) I had with him, call him Mr. Lee, being stared at me a few seconds while it was rather chewed I splashed lips grotesquely. Then something else caught his plate (which was a yellow juice escurrrían between your fingers) and pointing me in broken English said:

"We hire only cool people!" . then told the waiter to show me the procedure to be hired. The waiter brought me to the exit and I said some departments were miserable on the other side of the street. Were those typical buildings for poor people in the other side. Then this "company" told me that a requirement to work was to share a flat with other Mexicans on one of those departments that chance, were owned by Mr. Lee. The cost is deducted directly from my work week that would work from 7 am to 22:00 with an hour to eat the equivalent earning miserable wages earned by workers in Mexico. The waiter told me that the kitchen was full of Latinos and each department, two rooms, housed about 10 workers who provided services to restaurants, cleaning companies, etc. majeadas by mr. Lee and his partners. I was about to take the job, but I was lucky and found something unloading trucks at night. Biutiful

not discover the black, but it has poetically. These slaves are actually Chinese all on one level or another. Slaves are needed for the "free world" and, ironically, these films are a good way to escape that reality. While true, as the thing goes in San Luis Potosi, it is best to download it online ...

Is Pleurosy The Start Of Emphy

A cake with the flag of Mexico

In September 2006 I visited Nitra, Slovakia. When I arrived at the department of Monika, who was visiting her friend, the first thing I saw was a decorated cake with the flag of Mexico. I must say I was surprised.

Funny what happens when one leaves the place where he lives for a while: when people, places are not physically take a much more powerful. Suddenly I was aware that I was Mexican and that I liked so in many ways. I do not see myself as a nacioanlista ... nis iquiera as a patriot. But if I look like a Mexican. And so the gesture of my friend (and cousin Sisa that had decorated the cake) made excited smile. It was a privilege be in Mexico, having friends in a country as far away as Slovakia beautiful, but above all know that I have a home, where she was part of the places and memories of many people.

If something means to be a country would have to be that and not nationalism. But that's another story ...

As you can see, the color of the flag is wrong because it should be green, white and red, but the detail of the shield and the very fact that the cake was priceless. Thanks Monika and Sisa

¿Qué is happening in Germany? Excessive police violence against demonstrators in Stuttgart

Germany has a tradition of police violence leftist demonstrations and "autonomous." Historical data are protests against the new runway at Frankfurt 1984, against a plutonium processing center in Wackersdorf 1986 and the annual events of 1 May in Berlin and Hamburg. Stuttgart yesterday, the police force reached a new dimension brutality. The people manifested in Stuttgart is not a black block "tourists of violence" as in Berlin, but people of all classes. Lawyers, doctors, workers, children, seniors and environmentalists, united in the fight against a construction project they consider absurd, anti-ecological and a great waste of funds raised.

Kerastase Products To Use After Keratin Treatment

confess that I am a "beggar of good football ', which runs the stadium and a nice jugadita calls for the love of God

Uruguayan For my friend sent me from Montevideo the book "Soccer in Sun and Shadow" by Eduardo Galeano

"The ball and I never got, was a case of unrequited love. Was also a disaster in another sense: when rivals made a nice move and I was welcomed, which is an unforgivable sin for the rules of modern football. "

- Eduardo Galeano

During the 2006 World Cup, I was traveling in Cuba by attending a course that had sent me at work. The first game in Mexico at the world was against Iran and even Cuban television broadcast all games, I could not watch the game because I went with some Venezuelan friends for a last tour of Old Havana. However, looking to buy a few discs of Cuban music, I went to a store and found all the employees of the same at the counter watching the game. "How are you?" I asked. And I answered and still see the screen, the game was tied 1 to 1.

I wanted to keep watching the game, but one of my friends Venezuelan me I call him to see a disc. We were there when you hear a "Gooooooooooool!" Coming from the counter. I go quick and I see that is from Mexico and the Cuban Store celebrate with clenched fists. Then one of the Cuban looks at me and says with a grin: "Mexican right? "And I answer with an" aha "for I am watching terse repetition of the goal. "Be calm, and we're winning" says Cuban also gets to watch television. "Are we going?" He asked, under the eyes to see those two residents of Havana, watching a game of football world cup in Germany 2006 and Mexico celebrate as their own goal.

think that football, like other things, illustrates the best and worst that humans have. A few hours of play of Mexico to Argentina, one comes to Twitter, the hotel sports portals, the podcast, etc., And what lies are insults, racism, verbal abuse among the contenders from different countries . But at the same time, one can see scenes like this that I witnessed in Cuba, or images such as the Australian team, moved by the farewell he gave the audience when they took leave of this world cup in South Africa. Or as the diversity of cultures that is seen in many of the selections, including Mexico, where we have a Mexican by adoption. O the joy I expressed in Facebook from Madrid a Venezuelan friend (who I met on that trip to Cuba) and from Prague a friend Slovak, after the victory of Mexico to the French. But above all, when a goal is scored and we all celebrated. The goal is a shared joy and tastes better when we celebrated for its beauty that overrides any other characteristic of it as a scorer's nationality or the name of the team.

And I think the players from Mexico who will play a second round match today against Germany, they may feel happy to be at the event, have fun, to be players in a game that will in many parts of the world. And to give this move that surprised, to applaud the fans. And the same thing then the Argentina national team with such great player you have and to remember this game as one of the best in the world.

Today I see that my friend Raquel Madrid writes that he went to Mexico in the game today. I also want you to win Mexico. But, whoever wins, I want a big game for us to win all. And receive from somewhere in the world, through Facebook, Twitter, e-mail or sms, a comment that says "That great game we saw today!".

Central Disc Osteophytes

Hope is where the spiders make their

came this morning to go to work and I noticed that several other people traveling with me on the bus were wearing green jerseys of the national team football. At the corner of a street, a woman had set up a street vendor with the green jersey of the team and in my workplace I pass girls, ladies, seniors, ladies, children wear the shirt.

In my heart, I want you to win Mexico, and all these people have a reason for happiness ... I myself have a reason to rejoice today at least, because the Mexican reality, to many compatriots, it is very hard, and sporting success, a victory, it was ephemeral, it could lift the spirits ... for now ... at least for today .

But I realize that these successes, these hopes that I see in the faces of people who feel in my chest, have no basis in reality:

The Mexican team is made up of players who do not play holders in their European teams. The players are distracted by ads and television interviews for governing Mexico and Mexico has never won in France, whose players hold of the top teams in Europe.

Since I got to see my first World Cup on television, the national team has disappointed her fans. But every time you play, we all turn to hope. Convinced that perhaps today, all dreams come true. But it just shows us that there is no reason for that hope: the Mexican league is very mediocre, the team owners do not invest in your business to improve and the same fans do not demand higher quality.

A few hours you start the game against France, however, I hope ... maybe luck, maybe the mistake the referee, perhaps something ... because in any case, enthusiasm has not died no one and because, win or lose tomorrow, drug violence, government corruption and poverty will still be there, "where the spiders make their nests" ...

nest ... Looking to the future from the past: Finland, the digital world

Photo: Finnish Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai

The following is an excerpt from the article "Finland unlikely land for the universal use of technology "written by Youssef M. Ibrahim and published by the New York Times (Ibrahim, 1997).

HELSINKI, Finland-Forget phones here. Since almost one third of five million inhabitants of Finland carry your cell phone and the number increases by 27 percent each year, phones are becoming something quaint, almost a relic.

De

Indeed, even mobile phones are becoming a standard a bit old fashioned. The latest mobile phones come Now with email and allow users to roam the newsgroups and web sites. The 9000 Communicator, Nokia's new model is a hybrid phone and a computer the size of cell phones a decade ago, allows Internet access to a user who goes on a train, sitting in a cafe or standing on the corner of the street.

The Nordic nation is the world's most connected. Banks, shops and social life are migrating from the real to the virtual world faster here than anywhere else. Habits that distinguish high-tech regions as Silicon Valley in California are a national phenomenon in Finland.

The reasons cited are its high level of education, public spending on basic research and long nights of winter.

The Finns use the Internet to chat about their problems and for academic research and attend courses hundreds of miles away.

Universities offer free Internet access to students, as well as public libraries. In addition, municipalities, computer manufacturers and the government subsidize campaigns to provide access to many computers and cell phones as possible.

''Because Finland is so small, homogenous and has a high level of education, Internet use is becoming part of society, democratic access to government and institutions,''said Puirava Minna, a project manager in marketing studies in the University Tampere, about 100 kilometers north of Helsinki. ''Of course, America has an electronic culture that is very advanced, but focuses on small groups of the population. Here, it is very widespread.''

Former Minister of Education of Finland, Olli-Pekka Heinonen, explains that in less than two years, the country would invest 2.9 percent of gross national product on research and development in computer-related fields.
This year, he said, the government and private industry would invest two billion Finnish marks (approximately $ 417,500,000 dollars) to educate 600,000 students and 400,000 adults on Internet use. Soon, nation's 5,000 schools will be connected to the Internet.

The goal:''A society where competition is based on knowledge, know-how and the creation of new economic wealth,''said Mr. Heinonen. (End of interview)

All previous data on Finland would not be as impressive if the date of publication of the New York Times story was not on 8 February ... 1997. So 13 years ago, the Finns had already been established that the use of Internet would transform the access to knowledge and generate new forms of wealth. What about Mexico?

Cough That Taste Like Blood

If I could would sign for Ajax ... Testing

Photo Ansdersen (Andersen)

I go to a supermarket at about 10 at night. I bought some things pantry minimum after leaving work and go through the parking lot to the bus route that goes to my home. Then I discover burly man holding a "Ak-47 ." Although their presence intimidates me, I note with caution that the subject is in front of a gray car with no license plates and tinted windows. It is a car that could bring the same James Bond.

type I cross in front of his eyes on the ground, feigning a German peace and quiet of a pensioner who wanders into a town of Bavaria . Despair and anguish that must feel those fellow Mexicans who live in places where such weapons and those vehicles are more common because of drug trafficking and crime. Despair because in Mexico, the difference between a dangerous drug dealer and a policeman is negligible. And anxiety because you're completely unprotected at the situation.

The man with the AK-47 bullets could flood my quietly in that parking lot without having any legal or moral consequence. The police would do nothing and only cause the natural discomfort of those who have to clean up the mess that my guts or whatever it was left on the asphalt.

The bus to my house and looked in the background, waiting with their light-weary passengers like me. And then I hear voices. Slammed the door and start the vehicle. And my way to the bus stop is illuminated by the lights of that car over my head crosses a concert squeaky wheels and then fade into the night somewhere.

already on the bus while the driver and I hope some other passengers, I reflect on the fragility that we suffer from those who live in Mexico now and when the bus driver finally starts, guess I'm a football star and who signed for Ajax to go from here ...

Replacement Plug Air Mattress Best Way

Lipnik magical beverage, Czech Republic Rome Travel

Absinthe, the drink of the damned poets
In 2002 I tried the absinthe (wormwood ). It was in a public garden in the village of Lipnik nad Bečvou , in Moravia, Czech Republic. It was around midnight when a beautiful friend Czech and three friends jumped the fence of the Public Garden with the intention of the people drunk with absinthe and beer.

Never in my life tasted anything close to one drug (except alcohol). That summer night there was a full moon lit our way but this clearly, as would a flashlight. My friend looked like a ghost, with his thin white face and blue eyes ... was a ghost, but her red lips that I guided by public garden filled with pine trees.

Finally, in a clearing, we extended a blanket, like a picnic and someone took a bottle of absinthe to see if that Mexican macho dare. I must confess that when he saw the blue-green color of the outside I was afraid. Knew it was not one of those drinks I had to make for economy in my twenties when he bought a charanda plastic bottle for 20 pesos (1 euro). Nor was it a bottle of Absolut "pirate. That was something different. Security was a drink that I was going to hit hard. And these thoughts that came into my mind were the result of an analysis, came from the expectant eyes of my Czech friends, who expected to see my reaction to take that legendary brandy.

But I took mental strength and shouted "Viva Mexico!" before taking my hands shaking a glass of absinthe Jiri - one of the young Czechs - I spread. As I had to slow my mouth, I could see in the darkness, eyes of blue, yellow, green of my "prateli" Czechs. And the lips of my beautiful friends that I still remember every day of my life.

When I felt the drink absinthe in my neck and then on my chest, as if a line of fire came on and I saw my hands shaking, and escuhé all clear, for example the beating of her heart, my Czech friend Krasna , and myself. And my eyes have seen the faces of those friends spectral Slavs and my nose smelled damp pine Moravia, and my skin feel transpararente it.

Seeing the effects of absinthe in my person, my friends smiled excalamando Moravians "nasdravie" while Gambrinus beers raised above their heads. And I, without balancing between, watching a moon-shaped smile that said "Enjoy, live! ... While I was expecting a kiss, a fire that shot ... a moment on forever ... the mouth she said something in Czech, a foreign language, I could not understand, but my heart accelerated decoding for the rhythm of any song that I understand, I pulled her back and who would lead the child I was to say "hello" smiling there in the middle of a public garden, a summer night in 2002, surrounded by ghosts and the wet side of Czech prateli Krasna, in a small town Moravia, Czech Republic ....

Rome, the eternal city, romantic city ... Photo taken from Sleeping in Rome

When I saw on TV "Thieves Bicilceta " my seven years old, I promised myself that one day Rome would have to see with my own eyes . Some of my first romantic dreams were related to cities like Mexico City, Prague, London and Rome. And it is that big cities are for kids and for romance. Since that morning when I saw the Fellini film, spent 25 years until he could travel to Rome and how it has happened to other cities, I have not even been there. The trips last a lifetime. It was romantic, as I dreamed it and therefore, the eternal city is a place where I want to return as soon as possible. At least before the European Union require a visa to Mexico as required by Canada.

If you have not traveled to the Eternal City or have no opportunity to do so by the time I leave here a virtual tour of Rome. Not again: I did when producing a travel podcast for Frequency Zero was called "Passengers with Destiny." This podcast is the first part of three and was done with the help of Andrea, a Roman citizen who loves his city and he shared with me the secrets to safe places to travel, cheap but especially beautiful in the Italian capital.

If you're traveling to Italy and need tips to make your trip cheaper and enjoyable, then you should download this first part of my virtual tour of Rome, the Eternal City.

And in this first part, Andrea will talk about the cost of public transport and guide us in the first ride that will give this stunning city, former capital of one of the empires more powerful than have ever lived: the Roman Empire.

Roman also hear music and recommend a cheap hostel that allows you to save money while enjoying the works of Caravaggio, Bernini and Michelangelo, or eat a paste in Trastevere or give a walk through the Plaza Spain, the Trevi Fountain and the Circus Maximus. A real trip to MP3.

routes to go in this episode:

  • Coliseum
  • Forum La Villa dei Imperiali avenue and Tevere
  • longo
  • Paladino's Hill (the hill where Rome was founded and where important buildings were built by emperors as Tiberius, Caligula, Domitian ...
  • Traianei Mercati Street also has many Roman ruins.

Also, to rest and eat something Andrea will talk about the Parco de Colopio, near the Colosseum. Near this park is the church of San Pietro in Link where you can admire the museum of Michel Angello. .. or take another option: go around the Colosseum to Piazza Venezia and go to Campidolglio there is a big step where you can relax and eat and then Capidoglio or follow up to that street called Via del Teatro Marcello that takes you to the Bocca della Verita (Mouth of Truth) The mouth of the Veritas, which is a symbol of Rome, is a Roman manhole has the shape of the face of DiosTritón and, legend has it, you eat the hand of the liars.

Sellers violence: The Battle of Kruger

Bring a video camera in hand can turn into reporters or filmmakers in unexpected ways and even lead to fame. That happened to a tourist who was on tour in the Kruger National Park South Africa: As part of the recorded landscape discovered a shocking story: the struggle for survival between buffalo, lions and a cocdrilo.
have
The video entitled "The Battle of Kruger." The video has become one of the most visited Youtube is very intense and at times distressing. And despite the drama, the ending is happy. If one reflects on this video can be concluded that violence is inherent in certain aspects of life in the world, but also leads us to think that such violence has shades, types (symbolic, physical) and that its causes are diverse.

In If the video shows violence is caused by the need for survival of a species. The thing is, to see The Battle of Kruger one may end up thinking that human beings are probably the only exercise violence without apparent cause or meaningless. Instance, some muggers. Take someone's portfolio and before leaving, she stabbed or beaten.

Someone might say that this act has a meaning: to show power over the victim, but if one thinks that does not entail survival. It is an act essential to the life of the thief. It is gratuitous violence.

is curious that this video is an illustration of the struggle to live in this world and how we must accept that violence and membership in a group. Otherness is what unites and separates those who live here, we're human beings or animals.

I doubt that the tourist who shot this video in the South African savannah have thought in the discussions that create your presentation on YouTube. But now I know: the TV channel National Geographic released on May 11 a documentary on video and has spawned an entire line of merchandising. Violence sells, and sells very well.

Here the video. Lasts 8 minutes or so and some people may be at times unbearable. But incredibly, the end is what Hollywood.

Travelling with Juli and Fatih Akin in Turkey

" Dear, I have traveled thousands of miles, I've crossed rivers and moved mountains . I have lived and endured suffering. I have resisted the temptation and followed the sun to stand before you and say I love you. "

MOTOTURISMO

I started to travel since I can remember. Not physically of course, not smoking anything. But reading, watching movies and listening to stories of those who had been in other places. Hence I am a cinema fan, especially of those countries that cause my curiosity. One is Turkey.

This interest in the country that divides Europe from the Middle East took me to see a German film (directed by a Turk), whose central theme is the journey that makes a girl and a German guy from Hamburg to the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul. Him for a woman and her for a man.

The film is titled "I'm Juli (Fatih Akin - 2000) and represents a real journey through several countries of central Europe. Along with Juli (Christiane Paul ) and Daniel (Moritz Bleibtreu ), actors, visited Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. We see some aspects of the culture of these countries, we traveled by boat along the Danube and see different landscapes of this beautiful region of Europe to reach the symbolic bridge over the Bosphorus, which divides Europe from the Middle East in the mysterious city of Istanbul.

hitchhiking Juli on the outskirts of Hamburg
The film is the genre road movie, in a tone of comedy, which incorporates elements of romance and adventure. The spirit of "I'm Juli " is totally traveler, on the tape is a scene where he stops to ask Juli ride (ride, hitchhiking) on \u200b\u200ba road on the outskirts of Hamburg. While making the sign copn thumb explains to a friend: "Every year I do the same. The first person to stop decide where I will travel this summer ...." Is not this the youthful spirit that we get when we travel backpack? We've all been Juli, July, summer ever. Juli and skin change, including the ability to give another meaning to our lives.

Daniel and Juli at the Romanian border
Personally ever applied that phrase from the movie during the trip (few) I've done. But mostly I did what Daniel confesses the mystery woman who was waiting under the Bosphorus Bridge, this sunny July afternoon: " Dear, I have traveled thousands of miles, I've crossed rivers and moved mountains. I have lived and endured suffering. I have resisted the temptation and followed the sun to stand before you and say I love you. "

" I'm Juli "has a rating of 7.9 stars that have given users of the Internet Movie Database and director Fatih Akin has won several major awards. The film is easily downloadable from the Internet, through portals such as Portal or Vagos.es. cultmoviez.blogspot.com or blog. If you can not travel this summer, I'm Juli is a good choice to do with imagination ...

The soundtrack to I'm Juli is very good too. Here is the video where the character of Luna (Branka Katic ) sings a beautiful Turkish song during an evening on the beach in Hamburg:

Changes in my blog

Dear readers, as you have noticed, I've been almost four months without posting consistently. This saddens me because some of you feed back into my blog entries or comments send me on Twitter or Facebook.

What happened was that my blog was hacked during that period. Be re-routed to another site and changed many times the blog template and I took applications and more., Still redirected.

Finally, with the help of Google's official forums could rescue my blog and took the opportunity to change the visual appearance. Now I intend to also change some aspect in relation to content: More on travel and all the arts connected with it, such as movies, books, music. And above all trip reports.

An apology to readers that I have or used to have. And I hope you continue reading us here or on their blogs. I believe in blogs, the Internet in general. Are the Jedi can encourage the transformation we need. As the phrase at the end of the movie "The man who contemplates the Capricorn" and it says: Now more than ever we need a Jedi. Hopefully surfers helped to build. Greetings from Mexico. Setting

If you tolerate this your children will be next Image of a narco

Then the massacres of adolescents and youth in Ciudad Juarez and Torreon and sad events - and forgotten - the fire in the nursery ABC, one can only remember a song by British rock band "Manic Street Preachers" called "If you Tolerate this Your Children Will Be Next "(" If you tolerate this your children will be the following ...").
