From the day Friday after 21: oo pm Orange Alert was issued by the Population Emergency Committee Poptún-EOC, which is composed of various governmental and nongovernmental institutions that operate within our municipality, the alert was derived because of the possible incursion of Tropical Storm Matthew to Petén department, into a hurricane.
